Accommodations:
During orientation volunteer will be placed in a hostel in Kathmandu normally on twin sharing rooms with your group friend. Depending on your project locations, you will be staying with host family who provide you accommodation and food. Note: Nepal is one of the poorest countries so you do not expect very comfortable board in rural host family. Some place may not have electricity, they use either solar panel electricity with few voltage power or they use candle and kerosene lamp.

Food:
During orientation you will have food as per your choice in Kathmandu. There are varieties of restaurants that offer foods from around the world. During your placement you will be provided with Nepali food Daal Bhat (lentil and rice respectively) with vegetable and sometimes eggs or meat if you are non vegetarian.
